The Furnace is a youth group with a purpose!
The name comes from the story of Shadrach,
Meshach and Abednego in the book of Daniel 3.
These young me refused to bow down and
worship an idol that the king of Babylon had
set up. They knew that they worship the
only King, Jesus Christ! As a result of their
disobedience to the earthly king they were
thrown into a fiery furnace to be burned alive,
but God rescued them by keeping them safe
from the burning flames. Following in their
footsteps it is our prayer and hope that we
can see God raise up a generation of students
who will “Resist the World and Burn for Christ”
